Facilitated Stretching

Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), is a form of stretching in which a muscle is alternately stretched passively after it’s been contracted. The technique targets nerve receptors in the muscles to extend the muscle length and increase the muscle groups range of motion. This technique is used in combination with sports massage to insure that an athlete is in top flexibility for performance. Great for Bishop climbers!

Best for: Maintaining and improving flexibility and coordination. Particularly helpful for endurance athletes and those working on improving their fitness, mobility and range of motion.
